Refund Policy
1. Our Commitment
Applied Learning Systems LLC is committed to delivering high-quality technical education. We want every student to complete their course with skills they can apply immediately in the field. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us — we will work to make it right.
2. Digital Course Purchases — Standard Refund Window
All courses sold through appliedlearningsystems.academy are digital products delivered via our online learning platform. The following refund terms apply:
7-Day Refund Guarantee: You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your purchase date, provided you have accessed less than 20% of the course content. This threshold ensures the refund policy is not used to access and extract full course content at no cost.
No Refund After Substantial Access: Once you have accessed 20% or more of a course, or after the 7-day window has passed (whichever comes first), the purchase is considered final and no refund will be issued.
To request a refund within the eligible window, contact us at info@appliedlearningsystems.academy with your name, email address used for purchase, and order confirmation number. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
3. Package Refunds — Core, Full, and Shop License
Refund eligibility applies to each package as follows:
Core Package ($497) and Full Package ($647):
Standard 7-day / less-than-20%-accessed refund terms apply as described above.
Shop License ($1,297 — up to 5 seats):
Refund requests for Shop Licenses must be submitted within 7 days of purchase. Refunds are only available if fewer than 2 of the 5 enrolled seats have accessed course content. Once 2 or more seats have been activated and course content accessed, the Shop License purchase is final.
4. Live Q&A Sessions
The Full Package ($647) includes one live Q&A session delivered via Zoom. Live Q&A sessions are non-refundable once scheduled, regardless of attendance. If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, contact us in advance at info@appliedlearningsystems.academy to reschedule when availability permits.
5. Live Bootcamps
Live bootcamp sessions (BOOT601, BOOT602, BOOT603) are subject to separate terms outlined in the bootcamp enrollment agreement provided at the time of registration. Generally:
• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the session start date receive a full refund
• Cancellations made 7–13 days before the session receive a 50% refund
• Cancellations made within 6 days of the session start date are non-refundable
• ALS reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a bootcamp session due to insufficient enrollment or instructor unavailability; in such cases, full refunds are issued
6. Lab Kits
Physical lab kits sourced and shipped through a selected vendor are subject to the following terms:
• Unopened lab kits may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the kit cost, less shipping
• Opened lab kits are non-refundable due to the nature of electronic components
• Damaged or defective lab kit components should be reported within 7 days of delivery; ALS will coordinate replacement through the appropriate vendor.
7. Technical Issues
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your course content, contact us immediately at info@appliedlearningsystems.academy. We will work to resolve the issue promptly. Technical difficulties do not automatically qualify for a refund but will be addressed on a case-by-case basis with good faith.
8. How to Request a Refund
Email info@appliedlearningsystems.academy with the following information:
• Your full name
• Email address used at purchase
• Order confirmation number (included in your enrollment email)
• Reason for your refund request
We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Stripe's standard processing time applies.
9. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Most issues can be resolved quickly. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in suspension of your course access while the dispute is under review.
10. Changes to This Policy
Applied Learning Systems LLC reserves the right to update this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Purchases made prior to a policy change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
